Research & Design Process
If you need help with a design project, we can either take the whole journey together or I can assist you in one of the following steps.
Step 1.
First, we define the core problem and user need. What’s your brand identity? How do we convey your purpose?
Then we research the target, market, competitors or requirements. Ultimately, we set the goals of the project at this stage of the process.
Step 2.
Here, we look into the creation of a main idea and a solution to the problem that you or your company can solve. Hint: it involves a lot of brainstorming, sticky notes, and sketching
Step 3.
Now, we plant the seeds from the tree of our brainstorming by implementing the main idea. It can be through a user-flow, visual concept, interaction, prototype or user-testing.
Overall, the design research should place people at the center of your design process and your products.
Step 4.
In the final stage, we test the prototype on real people to make sure the solution answers the problem and needs of the actual world.

Graphic Design
Graphic design is at the forefront of what I do; however, the media varies. Whether you’re looking to spice up your brand identity, poster or app design, my mission is to capture your desired visual style and convey your message effectively while ensuring the design remains relevant in the long term.
For example, when I create a poster for an event, the goal of the design is to make the poster eye-catching, with the information as the focal point. Also, when I make the graphics for an app, my purpose is to make the design coherent, convenient and easy to navigate. But most importantly, in all of my projects, the graphic presentation is a vehicle for spearheading the unique spirit of your brand or project.
Digital
I ride all digital waves on my graphic board. This entails SoMe visual content & ads, app design, content and graphics for web pages, explainers, web banners and more. I also build smaller webpages in mainly Squarespace.
Print
Within the genre of print, I can do a wide range of formats for you such as: logo designs, posters, press material, menu cards, business cards, book covers, flyers, annual reports, whitepapers, presentations, letterheads and invoice designs.
Furthermore, I also offer guidelines and templates for all of the above.

UX design & Prototyping
You have most likely assembled a talented team of IA or UI designers to work on your project, resulting in a fine but not yet complete puzzle. I will contribute the missing piece by providing you with the perfect UX design.
In many ways, UX goes hand in hand with the branding of your project. While IA and UI designers ensure a clear and comprehensible user experience, UX adds the emotional element to users' interactions with the product, shaping their perception of your brand or product.
In short, the anatomy of digital products looks like this:
• Information architecture (IA): the bones
• User interface (UI): the skin
• User Experience (UX): the heart
So, how do we get the heart beating?
I do the research, competitor analysis, content development, wire framing, prototyping and testing. I can work in both a team or alone nurturing the size and time schedule of your project.

Brand Identity & Guidelines
The Visual Guidelines
Besides the logo, there are a number of important factors when it comes to your branding guidelines. These include typography, color palettes, photo style, graphic elements, artwork, grids and positioning.
Now, whether you are a new brand on the market or you need a rebranding, I will create a brand manual consisting of all the mentioned elements. Furthermore, I can also do a guideline on how to adjust your brand for specific marketing channels.
The Strategic Guidelines
Besides the visual guidelines, it is very important to include the following in your brand manual:
Audience personas, competitor research, brand positioning, brand story, brand values, brand mission, brand touchpoints, brand messaging and the tone of voice.

Art & Creative Direction
The Idea and Concept Development
The establishment of creative direction is all about shaping the big picture on your project through concept development, which encompasses all the activities carried out early in the creative process. This will help us find the right idea that will lead to a perfect call to action, the generation of more traffic to your website or simply more awareness to your brand/product/event.
Executing the Idea
While the creative direction provides the conceptual backbone to our project, the art direction is about executing the details. Whether it’s the look and feel for your website, SoMe channels or print material, I am here to spark, generate and create the art direction with you.
Aside from the necessary research I do for you, I also work out mood boards and help you set the tone, look and feel for your brand or campaign. In doing so, I will lay out the perfect artistic elements for our project.
Last but certainly not least: We also have to define the target audience, so I know which style/direction of art will reach the hearts and minds of the desired recipients.

Social Media
There are many aspects to crafting a successful SoMe campaign or strengthening your brand on platforms like Instagram. However, my main expertise lies in graphics, artwork, photos or video.
As you probably know, there is a great deal of competition on social media. Thus, besides the visual branding, building a successful SoMe presence also requires a well-thought-out strategy.
Brand Awareness
I can help you form the perfect pitch to your tone of voice and dress up your brand style on social media. From here, I create the content or guidelines for all of your posts. If you’re looking for the right content from image stock or influencers, I will also be your binoculars.
In terms of the execution, I will help you schedule the content, so you can easily plug it in to Buffer, Hootsuite, Later or whatever SoMe applications you are using.
